These add-ons allow you to control some of the behavior of your comic character, as seen by people using comic chat. Now you can keep the same character, get and send profiles, change characters, and control your cartoons expressions! Although you still can't see the cartoons, at least now the other chatters using comic chat will all see you as the cartoon of your choice!
1) TO INSTALL THESE ADD-ONS:
-----------------------------
Just copy these files into your mIRC directory.
CAUTION: these files will overwrite the alias, popups and events INI files, so if you have already made changes to these files you should back them up under defferent names before installing this add-on kit.
2) TO SET YOUR CHARACTER:
-----------------------------------------------
* The first time you use these add-ons, you'll need to select a character; go to the room menu (this menu is accessed by right-clicking inside a chat room window), and change your character while in a room. (mIRC commands only work when online and in a room)
* A second way to change characters is from the command line:
Type /changeto SUSAN. (naturally, if you want to be somebody else, type "/changeto TIKI." or whoever you want to be)
note: character's name should be in capital letters, ending with a period
* These add-ons support ALL the new and old characters from comic chat.
* Presto! You are now whoever you chose! People who enter the room later will be automatically updated as to which character you are supposed to be.
* And, if you change rooms, you will not "lose character" as you otherwise would when using mirc.
* Once you select a character, mirc will remember who you are, until you change characters again.
3) TO SPEAK WITH EMOTION:
-------------------------
There are 2 ways to do this... the first way is to use the new COMMANDs I added to the room menu (speak with emotion). To access this menu, right-click inside a room window. Just select an emotion, and enter the text, and the other people using comic chat will see your facial expression change as you say your statement!
The other way is to type the expression on the command line before you type your text. For example, if you want to shout "get lost!", do this:
/shout get lost!!
pretty easy, huh? Examples of other emotions you can do this way are..
/angry Oh, I'm soooo mad at you...
/coy I'm blushing...
/grin wow! that's really cool!
/laugh You're a riot!
/sad Bummer, man...
/scared Uh-ohhhhhh...
/uncertain Darned ant to shout "get I...
